Where We All Meet

2022

Paper Sculpture

1m x 1m x 1m

This piece is a celebration and acknowledgement of how much Hanze students influence and educate each other while they study together. They each bring their own unique cultures together and form one community. This for me is the epitome of the education that Hanze as an international school provides. It isn’t just a school for studying your chosen subject but a school where you learn as much from interacting with one another. This work combines architectural forms from many cultures into one paper world. Forms that reference a person’s ‘home’  blend together into a single, common plane of existence: a welcoming place where we all meet.
