A Delicate Nature
This piece focus's on the patterns in nature. It is all about an exploration of the types of forms and patterns in nature. The paper cuttings are made into a leporello book, of pages with varying sizes. This is to symbolise how these patterns can be repeated in nature in big and small forms but always deriving from the same start. The book is black and white as these are the most basic colours. The book can also be viewed in different ways from different angles. When folded up, all the paper cuttings are layered on top of each other to create one layered piece but you can also spread the book out to see every layer on its own or have it partially folded at an abstract angle.
